- Service Turnover Tax (STT) of 5% is to be charged on all rentals.
- Free days is only applicable during off peak season.
- Car damage insurance of FJD22.00 must be purchased for all rentals whether or not the renter has his/her travel insurance.
- Vat of 15.00% is to be charged on all rentals.
- An excess of FJD2500.00 is payable by the renter in case of an accident for groups 1-4 and FJD4000.00 for groups 5-9.
- Excess can be reduced to FJD1000.00 for groups 1-4 at a fee of FJD20.00 and to FJD2000.00 for groups 5-9 at a fee of FJD25.00.
- Petrol is not included in the rates. vehicles will be supplied Full Tank and must be returned Full. A fee of FJD30.00 plus the refuelling charge will be charged if the renter fails to do so.
- The driver has to have a valid local or overseas driving licence.
- Coastal Rental Cars will try to supply the vehicle you request but reserves the right to supply what is available.
- Extensions of rental must be given 12 hours before the termination of the rental agreement.
- A credit card will be swiped as the security bond for the rental. In case the renter does not hold a valid credit card, he/she is to pay a cash bond of FJD500.00.
- In an event of a cancellation, an administration fee of FJD30.00 will be charged daily against the total amount paid for the rental.
- Chauffeur drivers is available upon request at a fee of FJD70.00 per day from 08:00-17:00 (this is extra apart from rental charges). An extra fee of FJD13.00 applies for every hour thereafter (advance notice of 48 hours is required).
